Fall, that time of year when we all think... OH CRAP! here comes Riley Festival!... or is that just us here at the bread ladies? To be honest - We LOVE it!!!! All the hustle and bustle getting ready, all the vendors setting up the night before and day of.... All the smells and sounds as the food prep for the day begins.. All the people trying to check it out before it gets too crowded... All the vendors looking for a good breakfast... The kids trying to find the perfect hot chocolate... The music filling the air and becoming the perfect blend of indecernable voices and tunes from the music tent, the PA system and of corse - our stage...

The music filling the air and becoming the perfect blend of indecernable voices and tunes from the music tent, the PA system and of corse - our stage... We will have a line up of live music, and we convert to a true Deli Style atmosphere starting Thursday the 1st. Order - then we call your number and bring it to you. The outback will be open for seating as well as indoors. The Menu changes - we limit what we have We have ordered a new t shirt (as we do every year). It wil honor, once again the cowbell. Our Dear Cowbell... At Riley Festival we place a cowbell on the counter to be rung by anyone dropping in a tip... Then in the grand tradition of estabilshments worldwide... WE HOOT! No - we are not hooters... but we give out a cry of appreciation. This has developed into a tribute to the skit on Saturday Night Live. It features a verry hairy Will Ferrell playing a member of Blue Oyster cult... playin - yep - Cow Bell. And - lest we forget, the indominable Mr. Bruce Dickenson!... portrayed by Christopher Walkin... "I got a FEVER"... and the only cure - is more COWBELL! So - as in years past and years to come... Bravely we face the future, with fear and courage! With excitement and expectation! Come Riley - Come with all your force! We will be READY! (i hope).! |
